Mexico Mission Trip 2025
Are you ready for an adventure that changes lives?
On February 13th, 2025, we're heading to Ensenada, Mexico, for our fourth Mexico Mission Trip, and we want YOU to be part of our team!
Together, we’ll build homes for families in need, delivering not just shelter but also the hope and love of God. This experience is transformative—impacting both the families we serve and each of us on the team.
To finalize our plans, we need to know who’s interested in joining us. Even if you’re just considering it, please take a moment to fill out our quick interest form. Your response will help us gauge how many homes we can build and ensure a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
At St. Andrew's, we strive to connect, grow, and serve, and this mission trip is a fantastic opportunity to do just that. We can’t wait to embark on this journey together!
All Church Potluck
Join us for our next all-church connection event - a Thanksgiving potluck! We'll bring the turkey - you bring the sides and desserts. Sign up to attend and bring something below.
Memorial Garden Open House
“For all the saints, who from their labors rest…”
These opening words of the great All Saints hymn remind us of those who shaped and influenced our lives and now rest in the Lord. We all have those saints, and we carry them in our hearts and souls as we go forth to live each day. But it is also fitting to pause and remember, reflect, and appreciate, the gifts they left us with in these days.
All are invited to our annual celebration on Sunday November 3rd, to gather in the Memorial Garden after the close of worship to remember those who have been added in the last year and all who passed in earlier years. We will have cookies and refreshments and share a brief service of remembrance. You are welcome to browse the memorial walls and remember the people who shaped your life and give prayerful thanks.
Members of the Foundation Board will be present should you have any questions about you own after life care.
Trunk Or Treat
Join us for a Trunk-or-Treat celebration immediately following church! We are looking for people to donate candy and to decorate their trunks. Email emily.sabts@gmail.com if interested.

St. Andrew's will host a third annual Rise Against Hunger food packing event on April 14 after worship. We'll have a light lunch outside and then move to the Fellowship Hall to package up more than 15,000 meals. Here are the quick details:
Who: YOU! All ages can participate
When: April 14 at about 11:30am

You can help in two different ways. You can register to help package up all those meals or you can donate to the cost of the food itself. (Or you can do both if you'd like!)
Dinners with Jesus
“The son of man has come eating and drinking...” Luke 7:34a. Eating a meal together means something. When we share a meal together, it is likely with someone we call friend or someone who is on the way towards becoming a friend. In fact, it has been said that, “An enemy is someone you haven’t yet eaten with.”
Jesus knew the connection that happens when people eat together. It’s why in the gospel of Luke, he spends a great deal of time inviting himself and others to dinner. And when Jesus shares a meal, it’s not just about nutrition. Dinner with Jesus models the kingdom of God. Dinner with Jesus connects saint and sinner at the table and reminds us that we all bear the image of God.
In this series we will look at some of the meals Jesus shared with people in the gospel of Luke. And we will discover how we can connect, grow, and serve through the breaking of bread.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Attention all crocheters and knitters! St. Andrew's is starting a new ministry - Prayer Shawls & Baby Blankets. Handmade prayer shawls are thoughtful gifts given to those in need due to illness, hospitalization, or death, while baby blankets would be given out during baptisms. We will be having an introductory meeting in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, April 7, after service. This group is open to anyone, experienced and non-experienced alike! If you can't make the meeting, don't worry. Email Jenny Friess for more information.
Augustana Choir Concert
St. Andrew's is thrilled to host the Augustana Choir on their California Tour. They will join the Sanctuary Choir next Sunday, March 24, in worship. And then they will offer a concert in the sanctuary at 2pm on the same day. The concert is free and open to the public so invite a friend to join you for an afternoon of wonderful music.
