How to Make a Grant Request

Members who seek a grant from the Foundation should contact a board member with any questions. They should then submit the funding request form through the committee acting as proponent for the project to ensure all matters are coordinated.  Once a grant request is submitted, the committee will meet to ensure funds are available, the purpose meets intent of the Foundation and its funds, and that the grant is aligned to the most appropriate general or specific fund.  Once considered and approved a grant would be funded for its intended purpose.   The most important elements of the request are the purpose, the amount ($$), and any receipts or documents to help explain and validate the project request.  More complex requests may require presentation at a board meeting.  (Attached form SABTS Foundation RFP General)
